I feel SA2R really shines in a few sections.
There’s a bunch of other tweaks worth checking over, should you decide to have a look. The options for SA2R are solid – stages can be removed, stages can be randomized between stories, Green Hill Zone can be thrown into the mix, the multiplayer characters can be played in the main story (Amy Rose, Metal Sonic, Tikal, Chaos, Chao Walker and Dark Chao Walker) and the alternative costumes can be added. The Sonic Adventure 2 Randomizer mod for PC is a work of chaotic wonder for so many reasons.
